Is this custodial? Do you hold my crypto?

No. Never. Your funds stay on your exchange in your account. We connect via API keys with trade-only permissions — no withdrawal access. Your keys, your coins, your exchange. We can place trades on your behalf but cannot move funds out of your account.

What exchanges do you support?

Currently: Binance, Coinbase Pro, Kraken, and Bybit. We're adding more based on demand. If you use a different exchange, ask — we may be able to add support.

What does "daily algorithm updates" mean?

Every day, your agent's strategy parameters are reviewed and updated based on current market conditions — volatility regime, trend strength, correlation shifts, volume patterns. This isn't a static bot running the same rules forever. It adapts. You're notified of significant changes and can approve or reject them.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Crypto is volatile. Any trading system can lose money, and we don't guarantee returns. What we do provide: risk controls (per-trade limits, daily loss caps, position sizing), full transparency (every trade logged), and a kill switch you can hit at any time. We also only do spot trading — no leverage, no margin calls.

What is the kill switch?

One click and your agent stops trading immediately. No delay. No "waiting for the current trade to close." It stops. You can also revoke the API keys on your exchange at any time for a hard cutoff.

Do you use leverage or futures?

No. Spot only. No leverage, no futures, no margin. This is a deliberate philosophical choice. Leverage is how retail traders get liquidated. We believe in compounding via smart spot strategies over time.

What happens if I want to cancel?

30 days notice. We shut down your agent, you revoke the API keys, done. No lock-in contracts. No exit fees. Your trading history and logs are yours to keep.

How do I see what my agent is doing?

You get: real-time trade logs (every trade, entry/exit, reasoning), daily performance summaries, and weekly reports. Everything is queryable — you can ask your agent "why did you buy ETH at 3 AM?" and get a real answer.

How much capital do I need?

We recommend a minimum of $5,000 in trading capital for the strategies to have meaningful impact after fees. More capital = more strategy diversity. But there's no hard minimum — just a practical one.

Who is behind Claw Capital?

Claw Capital is a product of Wildfire AI Agents LLC, based in Urbana, Illinois. Founded by Kevin Scharp — professor of philosophy at UIUC, mathematician, and algorithmic derivatives trader. The trading agents run on the same OpenClaw infrastructure used across Wildfire's business and student agent installations.
