Kevin Scharp — Founder. Professor of Philosophy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Background in mathematics (BA, Washington University, 1991), algorithmic derivatives trading, and AI systems. Kevin wrote the data compression algorithm used by NASA's Mars Observer spacecraft. He's been doing computational finance for years and brings a rare combination: deep formal methods training + practical trading experience + AI agent architecture expertise.
The trading agents are built on OpenClaw, the same agent infrastructure powering Wildfire's business automation agents. Same reliability architecture — persistent memory, tool governance, audit trails, kill switches — applied to trading.
Philosophy: We believe trading agents should be non-custodial (your keys, your exchange), fully transparent (every trade logged and explained), and safely constrained (hard risk limits, no withdrawal access). If you can't audit it, you shouldn't trust it with your money.
